Not true teac made about 10 revisions of the FD-235-H series drives, I know this as 7 of them I worked on with Teac. They no longer make these drives. The drive found in the Akai that was a Teac is like 14yrs old and way out of production. The most current Teac 235 will not work by making a magic jumper change, sorry. Rish Life is like MIDI, your either IN, OUT or THRU.
