So you really think a meager 20% margin is ridiculously out of line and way too high for retail? I wonder what Guitar Center margins are like. I sold software to music retail stores and they all expected 40-60%! 20% markup on a low volume items is probably not much at all in retail. You can easily become a middle-man yourself. Make the up- front financial risk and commit to buy the same quantities that AH signed up for and I bet Cynthia will extend a 20% discount if you ask.
