Hi Phil. I have a SDSV and SDS7 brains and SDSV and SDS9 pads and the only thing I can say is that on some occasions I´ve used the SDSV pads with the SDS7 brain, and the response is quite different in terms of sensitivity etc...The SDS9 pads have a better response with the SDS7 brain than the SDSV pads.
