Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

The very last Simmons product (never released I think) it was a mix between the SDX and the Portakit (I have the brochure somewhere)would be completely outdated today but it was a great idea back then.
But the tendency to re-vamp old gear with a fantastic price, analogue soul and MIDI! it is great, the Korg Mini MS20, the Korg Volca clones of the 303 and 606, obviously the Nord drum 2 with the pad and all for pennies! No too many people can afford £2000 and up prices anymore, just a few only, then next month the question will be "why to pay £2500 for a 303 when I can get it for £100 with midi and very relieable components and warranty" I know is not the same but £100 is a price we all can afford...
All this left a massive door open to the great "Simmons" come back, I hope Dave will answer the call...
