WT skrev: > What is the difference between the 477 and the 478 ? A few layout differencies (and I guess some of the insides too). The 477 has all the channel volumes grouped at the left and the 478 has the independent volume with each channel. 477: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2434/3544539893_a3cef65486_m.jpg 478: http://pics.studiorepair.de/misc/Syndrum_Quad/slides/Syndrum_Quad_Panel.html (Funny how the first "pollard syndrum" google image displayed is a picture of my unit, posted by it's former owner.) At least the 478 came with the Oddy-styled slider caps, which, like on the Oddy mk3, Axxe mk2(?) and Avatar meant that they turned brittle with time and broke. All mine are replaced with black "pips" like on Oddy mk1. The 477 is the first too BTW, and seems a lot more rare.
