No, I'm doing test with the button tap function, that allow me to test 
the sounds without striking the pads...
To tell the truth, I'm not sure to have the stereo pad, as I tried all 
the pads with a stereo cable in the snare jack input, but no one seems 
to trigger the rimshot channel (no led lit). They should be all sds9 
pads because they have the rubber surface, even if they have a XLR 
connector. I read that the snare pad should have a grey coloured "O" on 
the Simmons logo...but I haven't. So I tested with button tap function 
or with MIDI, using a keyboard as controller..
