Hi List! I just traded a bunch of records and VHS tapes with a friend and among them were OMD - Live at the theatre royal drudry lane" which is a filmed live gig from 4th of December 1981 (damn, that's 26 years ago any day now). Anyway, the set-up is McCluskey on his ugly bass, Phil (or what'shisname) on synthesizers, another guy on another set of synths and one drummer. Among the drums I clearly spot SDS-V pads, Pearl Syncussion and also two SDS-3/4 pads which leads me to believe it's a SDS-IV hidden somehere in among his gear. They don't show up often with picture proof... but here's another one! :) Last time I spotted one of the MusicAid-era Simmons was the splendid live DVD with Fad Gadget where a SDS-III is clearly used a lot. The OMD gig is great, the filming quite crappy and the audience's (and band's) clothing is hilarious! I bet there are clips on U-tuuuuube... -- electronically yours, jesper - 7 years old when this was filmed - -- --- ---- ----- ---- --- -- - www.electronic-obsession.se www.myspace.com/machinepop - -- --- ---- ----- ---- --- -- -
