Hi Ken, Just a quick hello from a fellow Aussie. I'm in Melbourne. Proud owner of an SDS-8 and a box of yet-to-be-racked V modules. I use the individual outs of a 707 to trigger the 8. I looked up the specs on the synth chips in the 8. There's an unused filter resonance control :) Cheers, Clae. > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "ken_evans_99" <tycho33@...> > To: <Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com> > Sent: Thursday, February 22, 2007 1:13 PM > Subject: [Simmons Drums] Good News/Bad News SDS8 > > > > Well, my SDS8 brain arrived in Australia from the US.... > > > > Good news is that my service tech was able to easily convert it from > > 110 volt to 240 (220) volt - involved simply rewiring the transformer > > in series instead of parallel.
