I'll second that!  Real Life were up there with the best of the
post-punk new romantic whatever IMHO.  Berlin, Visage, Ultravox etc. 
"Send Me An Angel" by Real Life should be a compulsory downl... (ahem)
purchase for any Simmons fans.
