Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

I have a problem! I use an alesis dm5 with simmons pads in my band.

Does anyone else have a problem, in live/rehearsal situations, with the 
guitars setting off the drums? It seems like the frequencies set off 
the piezo transducers making the drums pretty much useless.  

Ive experimented with all the settings on the dm5(gain, velocity, 
crosstalk etc) to no avail. Ive also tried a yamaha pad but had the 
same problem.
If anyone can help i will be well happy (for a while)
