Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

Hi everyone!

Just thought I'd post & let everyone know I am SADLY parting with 
some of my Simmons Electric Drum Equipment.  The 2 SDS1's are 
ALREADY on EBAY AUCTIONS...the rest I have yet to put on there...

I am parting with 2 SDS1's...1 Elec. Tom & 1 Elec. Snare chips in 
them...and they are in MINT condition...even have NEW power supplies 
& MANUALS with them!  1 is Serial # 1830, which is fairly low!

I am also parting with 3 (yes, three!) separate drum kits...1 kit is 
in Red, 1 kit is in White, and 1 kit is in Black!  They come with 1 
kick/bass drum pad, and 2 tom/snare pads...ALL in good, WORKING 
condition!  (The black ones have been recently re-painted with 
automotive grade gloss black paint!)

I am also parting with an SDS8 drum brain, and possibly an SDS1000 
drum brain, as well as an MTX9 Drum Expander & an SDE Expander...and 
maybe even my SDS800 brain.  I also might sell an SPM 8:2 Mixer.  
All that will be in the second set of auctions, though...unless 
someone wants to make me an offer?!?!?!?!?!?

AND THE BIG QUESTION I KNOW YOU ALL ARE ASKING:  WHY AM I SELLING 
ALL THIS?????!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Well, my studio looks like a damn museum, and NOT a working studio 
anymore...and since I got a ROLAND Studio V-Drum set, I haven't even 
looked at my Simmons stuff, except for using a few of the pads on my 
live drum kit (using an Alesis DM Pro Brain for those, 
nonetheless).  I am SADLY parting with these, as it has ALL served 
me well for MANY years.  And hopefully, someone else for MANY MORE 
years to come!
