Hello,

About Genesis, I'll think that may be SDS7. I know that Phil was a user of SDSV & SDS7.

Howdy from Austin, TX USA!

Just joined the group and finished browsing the archives. Somehow
with all the google'ing I've done on Simmons drums, I never found this
group until just now.

I'm a organ/piano/synth player, but I've got a sense of rhythm and can
imitate well enough to justify buying a little drum gear. So far I've
landed a 5 piece SDS9 set in red and the usual 5-module SDSV. I
wouldn't mind getting another SDSV for more modules and/or parts. As
far as other gear, I've got most of the rooms here stuffed with combo
organs, synths, electric pianos, spinet organs, etc. As far as drum
machines, I use a Roland CR-78 and a Linndrum.

Anyway, two questions to start off with here:

1) What brain was used on "Invisible Touch" (the song, not the
album)? I want to say SDSV, but I can't seem to get the settings just
right yet

2) Anyone able to scan/upload SDSV manual and/or schematics? I
actually bought some for $15 from schematicconnection.com .. but the
guy is apparently having hip surgery and the order has been delayed by
over a month (torture!!)

Talk to you all soon ..
