TEV ? info/pictures/comments/ideas?

TEV ? info/pictures/comments/ideas?

2009-02-15 by Carlos

Anyone here has the TEV -Touch Envelope Voltage Source- /pictures of
the entire faceplate info on how it works?

I understand is basically 8 step TKB on one side and 8 touch or gate
activated envelopes on the other side? 3 rows? what else? if there is
only 3 rows on the tkb side then whats the extra space used for?

can it be ordered?

trying to figure out if is something I want in the distant future to
compliment the tkb and once the system is big enough so that it
actually makes sense to have a second controller....

thanks!
C.

I asked Rex bout the ( TEV )
a couple of years ago

cool, now my only question is if those 8 envelopes have a trigger in,
can't tell for sure from the description, but it would make sense? I am
sold if they do...

Will call Rex later this week. Figured he might still be busy with his
home problem, and maybe some people here had the TEV.

looking at a graphic of the TEV, there are 2 sets of 8 output jacks. For
inputs, there's a clock, up/down, and reset.
NO trigger inputs. Looks like all the triggering is done by touching
the keypads, but not by external trigger signal.

agh!! correction... 2 sets of 16 output jacks... 8 outputs for each of
the 2 sections, plus 8 gates for each of the 2 sections.
But, yes, they're all outputs.

I'm also curious about the TEV. John, where did you see the front
panel graphic? Any chance you could post it?

Would love to know if it is still in production (probably not, but,
well, maybe if enough of us ask ...)

Hi we were just talking about this over at Muff Wiggler's forum, and figured I'd post this here as well:

I hunted for a larger version, but didn't turn up anything :(

I'll post it in the Photos section as well.
