bruce duncan's reply is interesting and at least for the boolean logic
(which is one of the modules that was a potential design rip off) it seems
clear that his circuit is not a copy. if i remeber correctly, the serge
boolean logic module in my sequencer panel does use standard cmos logic
parts (40XX). i don't remember seeing a lm3900 at all.
