Sequencing Programmer help needed

Sequencing Programmer help needed

2006-08-20 by fhserge

I finally found some time to play with my Sequencing Programmers.
They nicely played with my Modcan/MOTM modules and with an ARP
sequencer...a lot of fun!

A lot of functionality is self explaining but there are features I
did not find any infos in the archives (there was a short thread
in2002), the Rich Gold book and Serges "manuals"...

- Is the GATE socket an IN or OUT trigger socket? What is the
difference to the CLOCK socket?

- What are the 1/3 and 1/6 sockets for? Quantizing?

Generally speaking I really LOVE the colour coding but it would be
nice to have different colours for AUDIO IN and OUT, and CV IN and
OUT.

Another thing which is missing is a simple trigger out module (I know
you can generate triggers with a DTG etc but I always use a trigger
from other machines (ARP sequencer etc)).

Thanks a lot in advance

Frank

I just got the my sequencer panel in the mail that i've purchased
from Ross Healy ( hi Ross )

It seems the gate socket on the seqp is an output that sends a pulse
each time the one of the stages is selected, either via the
stage select buttons or the stage select inputs..

BTW i recommend Ross to anyone with regards to selling/buying
- the panel is mint and the packing was completely adequate.
