question about ASR

Re: question about ASR

iirc there is a small voltage leak, at least in the older ASRs i use, so a
downward portamento effect can be obtained. i don't think it is an
intentional glide between notes. anyway, this is how ivan tch. explained
it to me.

Those of you with an ASR would know this - at the shifted outputs, is
there
a short "glide" between notes as the voltages are passed along?

Hi Peter,

I wasn't expecting it to have a massive "portamento" or anything. What you
describe sounds pretty much like I thought would happened from looking at
the circuit diagram (from keyboard mag?).

Thanks,

Ken
