Faux Stepped generator

Ok.... take one side of VC Clock w/freq set at about 11 or 12. Patch to Pdiv.
Take any output from division 3 on down and patch it to the VC "in" of the
other side of the clock. set the switch to "both" set the VC knob anywhere
between 7 and 11 0'clock and the frequency anywhere between 9 and 12 o'clock.
take the output and patch to a quantizer........ patch to a VCO..... patch to
VCA. A fake Stepped output is the result. It's not exactly like a regular
stepped generator but it's moderately close and very fun to play with.
Can you get the same results by simply patching the "out" of a clock or
DTG for that matter into a Quan and get the same results??.... yea......
kinda, but the addition of the Pdiv and the second half of the clock gives
slightly more interesting / random results.
It doesn't seem to work as well with a DTG. At the moment i don't have a
DTG with the "signal in" Mod.... ( unbelievable huh??) hahaha, but with
that Mod on a DTG you might be able to get similar results.
Redundant or not, it's a fun little thing to play with.
Hope this gives someone a few hours of amusement.
Kind regards
