new modules on their way (not serge, sorry!)

new modules on their way (not serge, sorry!)

2002-06-11 by m. blake wilson

friends:

i have just ordered some interesting modules to complement my serge
setup, including items from doepfer, analogue systems, and blacet. sorry
for the dumb question, but i know the blacets will fit in a frac rac
(which i've got). what about the others? if not, what are my racking
options that will accomodate all three brands, in any?

the old drill press will also make its appearance as i install bananas
in all products.

if anyone is interested, i've ordered the following:

doepfer:

A-199 spring reverb

A-177 foot controller

analogue systems:

RS30 frequency to voltage

blacet:

EG 2070

should be fun.

blake

Can't think of anything for all.
A 3U rack from AS or Doepfer will accommodate all modules from Doepfer,
Analogue Systems and Analogue Solutions.

Good luck fitting banana sockets on to already extremely dense Doepfer and
AS facias.

It's been done, Chris. A gent going by the tag
Cuari completely banana'd a multiple-row Doepfer
system. He encountered grounding problems, etc.
but it worked and he liked it.

I'm in the process of acquiring a couple of
banana'd Blacet modules, and am wondering
about doing this to my Analogue Systems stuff
as well.

Ah, to afford the used panels floating around
these days...
