well lets see: the serge comp has been comp'd and is being sent to the mastering house this weekend, along with the original 1983 musician's tape cassette for a digital bath. i'm planning on offering the two as a package; a sort of "then and now" concept.

i'd like to know how many people are planning on purchasing a copy of this release. if there is enough interest i may "go professional" with it; otherwise it will be a desktop affair. obviously, desktop will keep the prices super cheap (under $10 inc. shipping); "pro" would be over $10. keep in mind this would include all new serge material, as well as "vintage" music from the early 80s by michael stearns, alvin curran, roger powell, etc. this is a lot of good synthesizer music!

please reply to the list with your thoughts re: production, possible sales numbers, etc. thanks!

I for one would want both discs. Don't much care whether it's
desktop or "pro".

Totally different topic -- any thoughts from anyone on what to
do about power when growing your system? I've got a 5-panel
now, and hope to buy between 3 and 5 more panels this year
(assuming my house in MN sells for what the realtor thinks I
can get). Do I get another 6-panel supply, or trade in for a 12-
panel supply, or ??? Likewise as the system continues to grow
over time, what's the best approach? Or the trade-offs between
growing the supply and adding additional supplies?

cheers,
Bill

any Serger's here? Drop a line!
