Re: Help on repairing a Gentle Electric PEF

2011-05-18 by cfravel

Hey, Kaus, this is Carl Fravel, original founder and designer of the Gentle Electric PEF.

I have a Gentle Electric page at www.gentleelectric.com. There's a link at the bottom to my personal website and blog. You or your tech can contact me via the form there, at http://www.fravel.net/contact-me/ I can probably provide schematics and some email assistance on repairs. There is a very good chance that the problem is not in the potted modules, there isn't anything especially fragile in them, unless most of the semiconductors got fried on the board anyway.

Best of luck in getting it repaired. If you decide to abandon the attempt, please don't discard it, I would prefer to refurbish it at some point.

Carl Frael
