I had spoken to Serge about this in the early 80's. The Frequency Shifter
(FRS) has a three space printed circuit board (PCB). On some panels, where
a PCB had one less panel space than the front panel, and that module was
next to the FRS, the FRS board could be shifted to take up the unused space.
Perhaps the mixer PCB is such a case. Rex said he won't make any of these
adjustments on new panels as they "are a pain to wire".
