Welcome to the list and congratulations on Serge ownership.
The TKB likes to see square waves at it's clock inputs, such as the red output of a VC Clock, TGO, TGC, DTG or DSG, among many others, in cycle mode (either via switch or a shorty cable bridging the Trig In and Gate Out).
The Serge Gold Book is one of the best resources for learning about these things including TKB operation. Scroll down on this page and download the .zip of the book.

I appreciate the opportunity that this forum provides and hopefully at some point I can contribute with answers. However, all I have at the moment are questions and I'm grateful in advance for your help.
Currently I'm a bit overwhelmed by my new Serge though slowly/surely working my way through (and around) it. I recently started using the TKB and have had some issues clocking it properly. I've been using a triangle wave as well as a DTG & SSG. I haven't been able to get the TKB sequencer to run straight through from 1 to 16. Currently it's firing at random. What should I use to clock it so that it will run sequentially through the 16 steps?
Is there anything resembling a manual for the TKB?
