As much as I loved the custom panels in concept, I have to agree with Rex’s direction and the “father knows best” stance he has taken with the M-class. The functional blocks in the M-class are only getting better and provide a best of breed compromise between functionality and density in a logical package. The existing shop panels are well proven designs for macro functionality and between the two, I don’t see that much has really been lost and that the upsides to the new approach are substantial.James R. Subject: Re: [SergeModular] Serge Custom panels.not much chance of ever seeing custom panels again. But even if he did my guess is the starting price would be a flat 5K no matter what you put into it.
That's just my opinion of course, but backed up by conversations spread out over a few years. Give the M class some more time. My guess is that at some point no one will miss the custom jobs. Personally the M class does a lot more to satisfy than even the crazy custom jobs I had done back in the 90s. . . and I don't even have any. LOL

Agree with James wholeheartedly.
I would recommend that you contact Rex directly - chances are that in his vision of what the M-line will become, your need for a custom panel may very well be taken care of.
Cheers -- Bill
