Hi guys,
When I put Egres up a few years ago I talked to Rex first. I thought it'd be a
good idea if we could at least be on a 'wavelength' before getting into this
thing... also wanted to avoid any misunderstandings about intellectual property
rights etc... He said he didn't like the playable sound file thing so it
seemed like a reasonable gesture on my part to follow that, plus I never heard
a sound clip on any site that made me want to get any particular system... I
guess I need more of a hands-on thing.
Having said that, it wouldn't hurt to put a few clips on, maybe as
illustrations of what modules sound like.... @ 128k encoding, mp3's run about
a meg a minute, so you can put a little more than 15 minutes into 15 megs. I
would imagine that higher codings take more space.
Good Luck,
John P.
