I agree with John. If you read the forums of other modular synth
companies, one of the most common complaints is failure to meet a
promised turn-around deadline. Extremely frustrating, indeed.
This has been a common flaw of Paul Schreiber (Synthtech), which has
made him lose customers. One of the main reasons I've stuck with
Serge (besides it being a wonderful instrument, of course!) is how
good Rex was at meeting his promised deadlines (with millimetric
precision!). This time he just tells me in a flustered tone of
voice: "I don't know. I need to talk to *blank* and ask him what's
the deal is. Please be patient." This is for 2 panels I ordered in
the Springtime.
So all we ask for is a realistic anticipated delivery time even
before we order. If it's gonna be so long, then it'll be up to us to
proceed with the order, as long as we have realistic expectations.
To be honest, had I known it would have been this long, I would have
bought me another Cwejman, instead.
An opinion from a valid customer (I've purchased 5 panels already,
plus the two currently on order).
