As they say in the manual, damage is pretty unlikely, even if you do it. If
a module is designed propperly, there won't be a problem. If it isn't there
may be. Some modules do have errors in this field. The SSG is one example.
On later modules, there is a resistor soldered on to the bottom of the PCB
to correct the error. I forget which output was involved.
