the web.
so we ought to do it! ; )
SMOG allocates a fairly large amount of disc space for us on yahoo!
groups, 20 megs.
using the "file" section, members can upload whatever turns them on, in
whatever file
format as well.
i think it would be fun to have some sonic tidbits up there, both for
our own edification as
well as for the public. i have had several people ask me "where can i
hear a serge?", and
i'm sure johnp from egres gets this request all the time.
so feel free to post your sounds. i would think .wav or .aiff would be
appropriate for shorter
specimens, and mp3 for longer pieces.
