Actually, that was Rex's exact words during a phone conversation with him.
He wqs pretty darned adamant about it too. Then he went off on a tangent
about fishing or something. Took me almost an hour to get off the phone with
him! >>
LMAO!!!! you've had that experience too huh???? sometimes the dude really
knows how to rack up my phone bill. LOL
I think i really started a firestorm of sorts with that post last week...
really brought everyone out of the woodwork.... that's a good thing.
Seems as thought everyone miised the last paragraph which indicated that
what Rex really wanted at the time was just to build custom panels one at a
time on a very limited basis and he may yet get back to that. The bottom line
here folks is that he doesn't want this to become a "real" business. Yea i
know that he already IS in business so to speak, but you know what i mean. At
the end of the "Oakland" period he was in it almost 24 a day and he hated it.
So when he did need to unwind he would REALLY unwind. That's no way to live;
especially when you get to be over 50..... I should know LOL!!.
He's trying to find the balance between making the "cottage industry" keep
him alive and haveing a life outside of STS. Does this make any sense???
Kind regards
