As far as I'm concerned you would have to offer something different from
ModCan. Some of Bruce's modules are extremely 'compatible' (as in the
Boolean Logic) others, like filters and digi oscillators offer something not
available from STS. The ModCan modules *are* available singularly which
makes ModCan a very attractive option for some Serge owners.
As far as format is concerned, there is no point making something the same
size as a Serge panel IMO because they are all entities unto themselves.
Analogue Systems did a very clever thing designing their modules to fit the
Doepfer case, making the separate purchase of yet another racking system
unnecessary. You could make your modules compatible with Doepfer racking or
the Frac Rack, even more wildly the ModCan rack or heaven forbid (judging by
the heat on the web at the moment) MOTM.
