Hi,
You probably have a blown ADSR generator chip. It's a custom Roland
IC, IR3R01.
To be sure if this chip is really fried, you'll have to measure the
voltage in its output pin, and check if it's acting as expected (0 to +10v,
according to the envelope shape). If it´s OK, you´ll have to follow the
signal path until find out what´s wrong. I think it´s only possible with
schems at hand... you know, Jupiters are complex machines.

After initial panic, I've spent some time on the jupiter and I found
that my
initial description was uncorrect:

Is not true that no one of the adsr2 parameters works, cause if I set
the vca
control amount to max, than Release works as a sort of aftertouch, cause
the
overall volume is near zero, and also Attack works (I hear a little
progressive
increase of volume, not just the "click" that I got when Attack is set
to 0. I
think that probably even Decay works, but I can't hear it cause the too
low
volume...
So: it looks like only the Sustain doesn't work (only one voice)..
Do you still think that could be a faulty IR3R01.?

Suggestions welcome!
thanks
