Yes, as simple as this.  Your snare would trigger an event each time it 
plays (of course this is only true if your snare is at a consistent 
amplitude...you could only cause an event with an 'accented' snare if you 
wish.

You would now have used one of 3 available timers...

This 'delay you are using... this is an audio delay correct?  you would have 
to consider that some audio delays drop in amplitude with each successive 
delay.  You would have to take this into consideration when programming 
events...
