Hi Tim,

OK, I think I got this right...

My plan would be to send only one drum part out of an individual out of my drum machine. I would not actually be sending the ENTIRE audio signal (bass, snare, HH, etc...) I would just send one thing, like the snare for example. Would it work then to just set a level on the threshold that would appropriately be triggered by the drum machine, simple as that?

The reason I want to do this is that I like to monkey with my audio signals via delays in ways that gate delays can't do before I convert them to gate signals to trigger events.

The summed trigger outs would only work for me if I was processing a single signal, which would be true some of the time. If I was processing multiple signals I would want them separately so I would have to get them from the regular Q-outs.
