We're at Helms!

Seizing the moment in an otherwise impossible truck rental mid month crisis, I got a call from Budget rent-a-truck saying they had a 16-footer available for Friday night only and we jumped on it. So the fat lady has SUNG: We have officially taken residence in suite 322 of the Helms Bakery Building as of 12AM this morning! We were done unloading at about 1 and then I took the guys over to the Apple Pan for dinner as thanks for their hard hard work. It was raining, cold, not exactly the kind of activity which comes to mind in such climes. Got back to work at about 2PM today, a quick trip to Ikea for a couple of new desks, some shelving, planned to set it up tonight but got a big serving of 52 years old and pretty much collapsed. Until tomorrow... I'll be doing a little video, a tour of the building and the Helms compound and will be posting next week while in Westport. Please give a huge round of applause to Sam Hernandez who really came through last night. Sam is Plan B's assembly supervisor. Basically what it boils down to is I get all the credit, he does all the work. A year and a half ago he didn't know a diode from a dandelion and now, well...I shutter think how I'd do nose to nose with him. We tripled our throughput this last year and there's one guy to thank for this: Sam Hernandez. He moved out with me top Pomona and did that long long drive daily without complaint and has earned the respect of the other Plan B crew who all love working for him. Thank you, Sam!
