Next week's schedule

Next week's schedule

2009-02-09 by (i think you can figure that out)

Our first day at Helms will be in a week's time: Monday the 16th.
The day after I'm off to Westport and will be back in the office the
following Monday, the 23rd. The guys will be there the week I'm gone
so production will continue in my absense but in the event you have
returns or want to send us cookies or something, effective in one
week's time our address is:

Electro-Acoustic Research
8800 Venice Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90034.

We had to file the lease in the official county registered company
name, so PLEASE don't put PLAN B on the box until we break in the postman.

In any regard, I will have both email and my phone with me while I'm
gone, don't hessitate to contact me if you have any questions,
concerns, or wish to ask which type of cookies we prefer.

thanks much,

- P

Re: Model 32 anyone?

2009-02-10 by (i think you can figure that out)

The first ten are ready, in test as of late yesterday afternoon and
doing splendidly. As always with thefurst run I leave them on
overnight. If I arrive at work today only to find the Noisebug
complex has burned to the ground then I know there's a problem, Houston.

The first ten people who placed reservations have been contacted for
payment arangements. The rest will be contacted as those units march
further down the line.

We are not rushing these. With 48 places of critical mechanical
alignment, they're a tough build. The balance will be shipping the
week after next, unfortunately delayed due to my upcoming trip to the
best coast (NYC).

This is as good of a time as any to mention this: There are a few
places where we've had to make some adjustments for proper fit. The
second generation of M32's, after the reservations which ate up the
first 25 will see these improvements as well, but the price of this
module may rise a bit as that point - something like $15. I was
shooting in the dark when I came to the selling price, but it seems
these are a lot more time consuming as I imagined. Given we're within
$5 of the Analogue System joystick, with our added functionality I
feel it's still a very good deal.

Before anyone else asks, what do the trim pots adjust? Center
alignment? levels?

Re-Designed Model 15 trimpots

2009-02-18 by brian

Hello,

Does anyone have a description for the functions of the trimpots on the re-designed model 15 available? In fact, is there any source for trimpot functions on all the modules? Not that anything is wrong with anything I have, I just like tweaking things to taste, eg. it's nice to have each of the timbral gates set differently for their own unique flavor.

thanks,
b.
