PLAN B analog blog

The mkII M15 should, it's only about 1" deep.  The mkI definitely wouldn't though.

That's about all I could say, I have no idea on how the power connections and everything would work out.

I've kicked the idea around. 

Physically, by turning the PCBs sideways, two M15 MkII modules will 
fit *snuggly* behind a buchla 1PU panel (ala 258!?!?  who wudda 
thought?)  Swapping out the jacks for banana plugs where appropriate 
is elementary.  The finished module would be about as deep as the 
triple-decker 291e.

The big issues are: (1) adapting the power to +/-15v (2) 1vpp audio 
signal, and (3) 1.2v per octave scaling.

The $60,000 question is:  can the M15 MKII components be substituted 
to achieve the desired spec *AND* still function as the OSC we all 
love?

Answers:  I don't have any.

..and the $59,999 answer is: to coin a phrase of President Obama
(yay!!!), "yes you can" drive the M15 - any of them, old or new - from
15 volts.  My suggestion is you try it as is and see if you like the
tracking and if not, there are some changes which may get you back to
 the exact response of +/-12 supplies.  There are some notes about
that already in this blog, but I'd be happy to re-visit it once you've
tried it.

Should I bill your cc or paypal to collect the 60 g's?
