I've kicked the idea around. Physically, by turning the PCBs sideways, two M15 MkII modules will fit *snuggly* behind a buchla 1PU panel (ala 258!?!? who wudda thought?) Swapping out the jacks for banana plugs where appropriate is elementary. The finished module would be about as deep as the triple-decker 291e. The big issues are: (1) adapting the power to +/-15v (2) 1vpp audio signal, and (3) 1.2v per octave scaling. The $60,000 question is: can the M15 MKII components be substituted to achieve the desired spec *AND* still function as the OSC we all love? Answers: I don't have any.
