Hi Peter,

Could we get a head's up on the status of the Model 21 Milton
Sequential Controllers series, please.

It has been over 2 years since the announcement and lots of other
modules have been designed and manufactured since then. I know how
useful ASR's can be, but certainly not more than the Milton.

Any info would be grateful, thanks.

Regards,
RM

As mentioned on the Namm video this year, the Miltons will see the
light of day before the end of the year. As for the reason for their
delay...space. Something we didn't have until we moved to Pomona. we
did not have room for staging something this large in Toluca Lake, we
barely had room for a cup of coffee on our desks. Now that that has
been rectified, it's back in development.

Phil Gallo is curently in the final stages of the Model 40. Adter
this we've got some touch-up to do on the M28 micro, then it's on to
completing the M21 programming, ehich is easily 95% done already. The
devil's in the details however.

That being said, my decision on releasing products in the order they
were was not random. We have been building towards system status for
some time now. We need to get many other modules out before we
dedicate to a specialized sequential controller. We've also been
making an effort to clear the backlog of pre-announced products, the
ASR being one of those.

Re: Model 32

The 32 PCB hasn't seen the light of day yet, but in that it uses the
new type jacks, the PCB will be parallel to the faceplate so I cant see it being more than about an inch and a half deep.

While we're speaking about them, the next two releases will be the
Triple VCA and Buffered Mult. I am going to try and get the remainder
of the new products out two at a time in about one month intervals.
After these I really want to do the joystick. One, they're the
coolest things on the planet and two, I've had over 100 of the
joystick mechanisms sitting in a rather large box in our facility for
over six months!!

BTW...we've got a (big) surprise coming inthe form of a module in
about 10 weeks.

Model 32

2008-07-26 by tomas everaert

Dear Peter Grenader,

I have a question regarding the Model 32 Vector Plotter. Do you have
any idea how deep this module will be? I am planning to put the Model
32 at the lower right corner of a Doepfer portable case which I will
have modified so that the power connector is at the (right) side. This
might limit the available space for the modules I wish to put at the
very right of the case, in particular the Model 32.

Thanks in advance for the info,

Best regards,

Tomas Everaert.
