BAKIS! Good to hear from you, my friend. The M14 is being sold at an intro price of $225, which is a great deal considering it's roughly equivilent to three Doepfer A-138c's, a A-172, a A-132 and a A-138a. We're offering it at this price for a limited period as a thanks to everyone for being patient for it's release. The M14 is 18HP wide, the same as the VCO. Current draw fluctuates greatly, which is to be expected with a three-in-one module. Sitting inactiive, it's at about 50A. With all inputs used and the unit being crossfaded via a VC, it runs at about 80mA when both LEDs are off, but rises to about 100mA when they're on at full intensity. Left unattended, a single one element (one color) LED can pull up to 40mA by itself. I've tempered the current down a bit which in this instance is fine...these dual colored jobs are super bright. How bright? They make the knobs around them glow when at full intesity. You might considering sunscreen and welding glasses when using this guy! Bakis..l.the M14s will be shipping to Schneider's in about a week. - P --- In PLAN_B_analog_blog@yahoogroups.com, Bakis Sirros <synth_freak_2000@...> wrote: > > hello peter, > great news about the new module. > what's the price, panel width and current draw of this > new module? > best regards, > Bakis. > > > > > --- "(i think you can figure that out)" > <peter@...> wrote: > > > I'm happy to announce that the first shipment of the > > Model 14 > > Dual Processors will be at our US dealer Analogue > > Haven either > > tomorrow (Sat) or Monday. > > > > One of these units will remain in the store as a > > demo unit, the > > others will be available for sale.
