Hi
i made my vote :) thats cool regards the wavetable .Digital in analogue? well i hope so , i think its the missing link and future of modular hardware systems along with bring back some of the rare and obscure stuff .Weird digital noises are lovely , i love the idea of the harmonic osc . . .cv mod per slider also? , cross mod . . .all sorts of potential.Bit cruncher - yes please .The Milton? my guess is there are more than a few people ready to punce on this ! Digital circuits , we we have to agree they can make for some really bad filters and in general can really fall short of the mark at times but in realtion to creative sound design digital can be cool.If the idea with plan b and livewire stuff is to create new and rare old modules and tap into the musicians who are trying to make new forms etc then some form of digital hybrid and weird alient technology is maybe one way forward , not that
the 'traditional ' :) doesnt get us right out there , i am sure there is the potential in some digital usage to create modules that sound cool , their not ' pure ' in essence but may sound very nice :) its all in the ears and the potential it brings . . . .re-invent the wheel and upset them oldies :) . . .however i have to respect the mind melt of those old circuits . . . . thats what sold me on the Plan b stuff . . . that and the chaos modules from livewire . . . .
cheers

Before i answer...have you voted for your preferred Model 18
(that's really 18) format yet? ha ha.
ANYWAY...no plans to do a wavetable as I have enough goodies
on the drawing board at Plan B Skunkworks to last
me....hmm...10 years? Nah, not quite THAT long.
close though.
But seriously, I am currently working on six newbies in the "it's
been designed, just have to to do the PCB layout" mode, two
others in the "seriously in development' mode, and three others
tht are in whatever mode it's called when you're thinking about
them as your driving.
One that's in the serious development mode is the new Mitlon,
and i happen to have another session with the programmer this
evening (it's a regular rain or shine Sunday evening thing for the
last couple of months). I bring this one up specifically because
alos, it may still change formats (see next letter).
Mike was talking about a bit -cruncher, we just need to needle
him on his thinking that it's a sin to include digital circuits in an
analog module! And you can tell'em i said that - ha ha !
As far as a wavetable VCO - its come up in think tank meetings,
but it's not gotten any further than that.
One I have been tossing around recently (car mode) is a
harmonic generator of sorts - all analog. First ten harmonics via
sliders or VCs. Sine, saw and possibly square outs.
