PLAN B analog blog

The new jacks I'm going to start using are also horizontally mounted -
just like the Livewire jacks.  Cliff are vertically mounted. Using
these new jacks I'l still have to redesign the current modules PCB. 
This isn't a problem, good riddance, etc.

My first concern is the plethora of new modules I'm designing right
now - I'm using the new one's on all these.  Then I'll phase in the
new designs of the current modules once our PCB inventories dry up.

The first on will be the Model 15.  I've already redesigned that art
and it will eliminate all 12 wires we have to install now on each unit
(happy day!).  It also reduced the PCB count from 4 to 2.

Let me just say that these new jacks look almost identical to the
Cliffs from the faceplate.  There's something to be said for that in
that the older modules won't look that way..  Secondly, their
construction is such that they are completely reliable.  As an added
plus, instead of $.70 EACH at quantity for Cliff they are less than a
quarter of that at the same quantity!!!!!

These are things that warm the heart of a manufacturer, lemme tell ya.
