So, my VCOs are brand new, and the sync sounds nothing like this.  I 
sorta wish it did.  I assume that I have what was the stock sync when 
this e-mail came out and that is because of the impending model 15a.  
Am I correct about any of this?  If so, what's the latest on the ETA 
for the 15a?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
