The Power system has had a couple of upgrades since Alessandro first took possesion of the system, but currently it's powered by a 1.7 amp Power One supply which is mounted in the case behind the lower right modules. Power distribution is handled via a long linw of Plan B Model 1 boards mounted on a single Vector rail which runs across the length of the chassis at the center, hung about 4 inches from the back of the modules and bolted to the front rail by a series of standoffs. This way it's not directly connected to the case wall and is somewhat protected from bumping due to that. the rails are Vector T struts. Do a search in this blog - they're mentioned a few times on in this group. They are svailible at Mouser hope this helps, P --- In PLAN_B_analog_blog@yahoogroups.com, "gabu_004" <gabu_004@...> wrote: > > Hello Peter, > > I'm woundering how does the power distribution works in the NIN custom > case and what type of power supply is being used... > I mean I'm planning to build myself a roadcase/modular synth and I'm > trying to avoid buying doepfer's bus board to reduce as much as > possible the building cost...
