Was the title "Secret Life of Semiconductors" meant to echo Peter Tompkins' book "The Secret Life of Plants?" I gather this work caused a bit of a sensation in the mid-1970's. Weirdly some years ago I set up a talk at the Library of Congress with Jeff Bagato, a local musician and author, who summarised the work of scientist Norman Lederman. Lederman used microvoltages on the leaves of house plants to play his ARP 2600 and actually released a single of this plant music. I don't think it was a huge seller. He named the ensemble on the disc The Stereofernic Orchidstra. How about a Plan B module that I can hook up to my Boston fern? The title comes from a large (28 minute) analog piece entitled "The Secret Life of Semiconductors". - P --- In PLAN_B_analog_blog@yahoogroups.com, "Eyesaw" <eyesaw@...> wrote: > > Thanks Peter - Congratulations on success in translating your imagination into the best synth modules available.
