Modular Synth Panels

For those not on the mailing list, Heinz Hanssen of Front Panel
Express sent a message on 7/21/06 referring to a number of topics. 
One topic was that aluminum has increased in cost 60% over a number of
recent months and that "new prices" will go into effect on August 1, 2006.

There will be a new version of the free FPD software with updated
pricing files available on that date as well.  Additionally, there is
an FPD version for the Mac in the works as well as one for LINUX.  All
versions are hoped to be available by the end of 2006.

There was no hint as to what the dollar cost difference might be on
new panels.
