new baby

Now that everything is completed and the long journey is done, I'd
like to announce that Novatron Mark V #104, the former Morazotron, has
found a new and permanent home with me. A magnificent electro-
mechanical restoration by Jerry Korb and new sets of tuned tapes from
Streetly with Gothic/M300Astrings/IanMflute on the left hand and
MkIIbrass/3violins/8-voice choir on the right hand should help spark
some new Mellotron music before too much longer. I gotta go play
now...

Jon,

Regardless of what magic Jerry did on this instrument, it's still a loser. Please send it to me immediately and I will make sure no one is ever troubled by it again.

Martin can't tune a fish. What makes you think he can tunamellotron?

Rick (Ah, who the hell cares what mellotron he owns?)

Jon, congratulations! With Jerry's handiwork, it must be quite a
work of art. Will you be posting some photos and sounds in the Files
section?

Hi Bernie and Gang, Not "quite" a work of art, as the cabinet still retains
all the "provenance" , as requested by its owner. Meaning, scratches, gouges,
drill/sawed holes, etc.

But as classic car and hotrodders would say "It's all under the hood what
counts."
Future (quite a bit future) MONEYPIT by KL and myself pending......sometime.

Cheers, -- JK (a little scratched and gouged thru the years, but AOK under the
hood)
