BBC 6 Music Freak Zone - possible Mellotron special

BBC 6 Music Freak Zone - possible Mellotron special

2006-09-10 by Tony Swettenham

Hello all,

While listening to last week's edition of Stuart Maconie's Freak Zone
on BBC 6 Music, I heard him make a brief mention of a growing demand
for a Freak Zone Mellotron special, to which he has hinted that there
could be one at some point. I'll keep listening for any more news of
that in weeks to come, so watch this space!...

For those of you unaware of this show, it's on BBC 6 Music every
Sunday between 5pm - 8pm (and each show is online for the following
week until the next broadcast) - it plays all sorts of stuff that
doesn't usually get played on the radio, including psychedelic, folk,
prog, film soundtracks, old TV themes, pretty much anything on the
obscure side from (mainly) the 60s to the present, and they sometimes
have 'themed' weeks as well - here's where it lives:

being too lazy to actually look right now, is this a programme
that gets a webcast of some sort?
something that can be streamed?
[if ya can stream it ya can record it]
