Yes.
My suggestion would also be to distribute signed copies, and even see if you can get some of the interviewees to autograph copies as well.

Let me toss a question out to the tron community at large:

I've been thinking about doing a Special Edition of The Mellotron Book, with hardcover, revised text, expanded photos (this time in COLOR), and additional interviews (those I couldn't nail the first time around). It would not really be a for-profit venture, just pre-paid costs plus shipping; in other words, a version that is more in line with my original vision of the book...and no, I haven't looked into the prospective cost (though certainly a bit more than the $25.95 cover price of the existing version)

Is there any interest in this? Feedback, please.

Thanks,

I, for one, would love a special edition book only if it featured Dichksen's ass on the cover.

Good Lord! What a frightening image. <laughs> It would have to have one
of those peel-off covers [like they put over "Country Life" when it was
first released in the US] so that the kiddies won't see it and be horrified!

This can be arranged. As can a scratch 'n' sniff version.

Well... I find this discussion of Mike's "body part" offensive. Mike
will need more professional help if we keep this up! He is a very
sensitive guy.

damn it to feck, I only just got the first version! and now there's going to
be an interactive one? well, ok. I'll buy into this on condition that each of
the interviewed owners gets to submit a pic, for publication, of their 'tron.
that ought to weed out the fakers, with their narrow staircases and tiny
studios..... we carried ours up the funny staircase at the back of the garage
in highbury (behind the main bar) to play third on the bill below tiger and
adrenal. exactly. *that's* mellotronist's hunchback.
put me down for a set with dickstrings. I'll decide what the other two sounds
should be when I recover from yet another fabulous robbie keane goal. ha.
