Unleash the beast.....................................

Unleash the beast.....................................

Hello y'all,

We have been experimenting and can now offer an expanded version of M400
tapes. In an effort to maximise what can be achieved with the predetermined
format we are now producing 6 track tapes.

Standard three track tapes have always offered two additional blends at the
mid points between A and B and B and C but now you can have 5 unique voices
from the new 6 track format.

Mike Dickson is the first to try this out and had the following bespoke set
made:

MKII Flute - MKII Violins - MKII Brass - String Section - Eight Choir - Boys
Choir giving him the following voices:

Track A ) Flute/Vs Track A+B ) Vs/Brass Track B) Brass/SS Track B+C)
SS/Eight Track C) Eight/Boys

That's Mike's choice but these blends can be anything you want from our Tape
Library.

It's all about maximising the possibilities and reducing the inherent
limitations. These tapes open up a host of new sound combinations, all recorded on
wonderful EMI stock of course.

Best,

Martin and JB
ps we don't charge any extra for the new format.......................yet!

An interesting and clever use of existing technology. If you want a
lot of huge blended sounds, this is the thing.

This track selection is good. I might have been tempted by the
Woodwinds or cello in there somewhere, but this gives me something to
ponder--too many possibilities. :-)

Mike, what do you think? How does it hang in there on an old M400?

M400 #805 - and at the touch of another button...
M400 #1037 - ...one key, big sound
