another M400 accounted for

another M400 accounted for

serial # 1373....restored by me for the owner and sanded/repainted by a professional
cabinet worker in Findlay OH....owned by Mr. Chuck Cobb (who doesn't even play
keyboards...he just wanted it as a "trophy" for his huge prog music room) It has my last
tape rack from my old unit (#328)-
8 choir,3 violins, split M/F choir. The keyboard needs a complete set of rubber rollers but
everything else is new or refurbished. Chuck and I disassembled the entire inside and
cleaned and detailed every piece. The tron was sitting in the attic of a local female vocalist
who told us that her old keyboard player "abandoned" it years before and he never came
back for it. There was also a Rhodes and an Arp String Ensemble which were beat to
shit. The tron had spider webs inside and the obligatory cigarette burns....it had the
standard cello/violins/flute tape set which actually still played. The motor board was a
CMC10...we installed Dave Kean's last motor board(SMS5?) and new preamp/pots. We did
all this several years back...the tron now sits on it's cutom made floor stand which
matches the white finish, and Chuck drapes a British flag over it as a dust cover.
In an unrelated note....doesn't new age composer GANDALF still own a MKV? There's tron
on his new album "Sacred River".

Whoever's keeping track, if I haven't already said so, my mate Gary's black
Novatron is #1792.
