Got a cheap one (SWTP), with the antennas mounted on the cover for an old Sony portable tape deck. Circuitry is outboard (don't ask why - I can't remember). By an incredible co-incidence, I played it in a performance on Nov. 3rd, 1993 - ok, guess the significance of that. I am, as far as I know, the world's only pedal Theremin player. I have it on the floor and play with my feet. This came out of necessity one time when I was using it in a performance as modulation input for my Mini-Moog and still wanted to twiddle knobs - difficult to do when waving your arms about. For those in Toronto, I'll be using it at the Ambient Ping (http://www.theambientping.com/events.html) this coming Tuesday with a trio called NOINO. Since this is part of a festival celebrating radio and transmission art, I'll be using (a) radio(s) to pick up the signal, rather than plugging it in. There'll be all sort of radio mayhem that night.
